Kan Medical Spa has a lot of treatments to offer, for people who's new to medical cosmetics, these treatments are hard to understand. We need to find a way to organize information that's relative to the user, increase engagement, and ultimately increase booking rate.
Approach 1: Look for Existing Solutions
Sometimes the problem is already solved by other people. There's no need to reinvent the wheel. I did some quick research on competitors and see how they organize their information.
Approach 2: Interviewing the Experts and Understanding the Customer
Understanding the user is the most important thing in design. By interviewing the owners, we identified 2 major user groups:
- People who are trying medical cosmetics for the first time.
- People who are already familiar with certain treatments.
Working together with the client, I created the site map to outline the information architecture.
